It's a Ripped Jeans Affair: Taking it Home or Taking it to the Streets?

Just like I said the last time I made a post on Ripped jeans on our BBM channel;

I have never really understood Ripped/Destroyed/Distressed Jeans…

I mean, I’m still yet to wrap my head around getting one for myself. I can totally relate with a small straight cut. Something more like this…

Anything else, hmmm….not so sure. But hey, that’s just me!

Here’s how some of our Skimmy Skims have rocked theirs; some taking it Home and others to the Streets.

How do you rock your Ripped/Distressed/Destroyed jeans?

Do you take it Home (keeping it simple or being a little conservative) or do you take it to the Streets (going wild and daring)?

TRENDS: Burgundy and Military Green for the Season

Hello Digs and Skims! How has the week been? It’s Friday!  (singing ‘oh my God, it’s the weekend. Hands up for the weekend’ In Eden Xo’s voice). A great relief, I guess.

So, with Burgundy and Military green fighting for territory, it’s really uncertain which is the ‘new black’ right now. No doubt, both colors are perfect staples for Autumn/fall; serving as the neutrals for the season. They blend well with a variety of colors.

Burgundy gives the ultra-feminine feel and Army/olive/khaki green adds some sort of androgynous and military vibe.

Infuse these colors into your Fall/Autumn wardrobe in whatever form you might like (coats, jackets, boots, cardigans, hats, nails, shirts, skirts etc). As for us in the Tropics, we gonna rock it in all ways imaginable. Take a cue from these skimmy Skims on how to incorporate these colors into your wardrobe as well as, how to combine them.
